Training FAQ

Common questions about our courses and grant funding

What courses do you offer?

We offer two full-day courses: AI for Business (learn to use AI tools across your operations) and AI Build Day (teams build working AI tools they take home). Both are 8 hours, hands-on, and require no technical background. They can be taken independently or as a sequence.

How does the Talent Fund work?

Michigan's Going PRO Talent Fund reimburses employers for qualified training costs — up to $1,500 per employee. Both of our courses are Talent Fund eligible with structured curricula, assessments, and certificates of completion. Many employers pay $0 out of pocket after reimbursement.

Do participants need technical skills?

No. Both courses are designed for business professionals with basic computer skills. No programming, coding, or technical background required. We teach practical AI skills using everyday business scenarios.

Can training be customized to our industry?

Yes. We adapt exercises, case studies, and discussion prompts to your specific industry — manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, or other sectors. The core frameworks stay the same; the examples become immediately relevant to your team.

Can training be delivered remotely?

Yes. We offer on-site, virtual, and hybrid delivery. On-site is ideal for Build Day where real-time collaboration matters. Virtual works well for the AI for Business course with distributed teams. We'll recommend the best format for your situation.

What's the difference between the two courses?

AI for Business teaches your team to USE AI tools effectively across operations, marketing, and strategy — participants leave with an implementation plan. AI Build Day is more advanced: teams BUILD working AI tools (chatbots, automations, or dashboards) they take home. Take AI for Business first, then Build Day 30-60 days later for maximum impact.

Ready to upskill your team?

Whether you need AI literacy or hands-on tool building, we'll help you find the right program for your team. We also help you apply for Talent Fund reimbursement.
