FAQ
Are individual aircraft owners included?
No. FAA TYPE REGISTRANT code 1 (individual) is excluded at the build step. The file is filtered to TYPE REGISTRANT code 7 (LLC) plus a small handful of corporate registrants whose owner name explicitly contains LLC or L.L.C.
Why is the cross-match rate only 13.4 percent?
Because the Palavir SoS coverage footprint currently spans NY, TX, CO, PA, VA, IA, CT, OR, DE plus the IRS BMF for nonprofits. Delaware over-indexes due to fractional-program concentration there. State coverage expansion will lift the match rate.
Are trustee or co-owner names included?
No. The FAA OTHER NAMES columns 1 through 5 are dropped at parse time because they can carry individual trustee or fractional co-owner personal names.
How current is the data?
FAA publishes a new Releasable Aircraft snapshot on the first of each month. Palavir releases the cleaned cross-match file within 24 hours of FAA publication.
Free sample?
Yes. A 10,000-record stratified sample drawn from the matched subset (so every sample row carries populated LLC firmographics) ships free under MNDA within one business day.
Compliance posture
Built from the FAA Releasable Aircraft Database (open public record) and the Palavir state SoS LLC filings index. Individual aircraft registrants (Type 1) are excluded at build. No trustee, co-owner, or registered-agent personal-name columns appear in any file.
