Are individual driver names included?
No. The MCMIS Census file is carrier-level. No CDL holder names, no individual driver SSNs, no driver records.
What about sole-proprietor names?
Sole-prop legal names are stripped at the source build step. The is_sole_proprietor flag is preserved so buyers can still segment and target the 619,216 sole-prop cohort without the personal name field.
How current is the BIPD insurance status?
FMCSA refreshes L&I daily. The 2026-05 file captures every active and pending BIPD filing in the FMCSA All With History archive.
Is MC docket included for every carrier?
27.8 percent of MCMIS carriers ship with an MC, MX, or FF docket populated via the crosswalk. Carriers operating only under USDOT (intrastate, exempt for-hire) do not have an MC docket by design.
