FAQ

Why is the match rate 11.58 percent of the national Form 5500 NAICS-62 universe?

Because nb_businesses currently covers 11 states. Coverage expansion to CA, FL, IL, MA, MI, NJ, OH, and GA over the next 90 days will lift the match rate to roughly 60-70 percent. The 2,529-record sample is a representative slice with the state gate fully disclosed.

Why is the EIN hashed instead of plain?

Because plain EINs are an SSN substitute for solo physician and chiropractor practices. The hashed EIN supports buyer deduplication and rejoin against other Palavir products without exposing the raw EIN downstream.

Does this include practice owner names, signer names, or individual provider names?

No. All individual-person name fields are dropped at the source build step. Only organizational records, organizational NPIs, and aggregate plan-level counts appear.

Can I get Schedule H plan-asset detail?

Yes. Tier 3 is live as of 2026-05-20. The $50K per year bundle joins DOL Schedule H attached financials across plan-years 2018-2023 and adds total plan assets EOY, total liabilities EOY, benefit payments, plan income, and funding status. 62.6 percent of matched sponsors carry Schedule H detail.

NPPES taxonomy enrichment status?

Live as of 2026-05-19. The CMS NPPES Feb 2026 release of 1.71 million organizational records is ingested into Supabase. 36 percent of matched practices carry a populated taxonomy code.

Can I filter to one NAICS-62 sub-segment?

Yes. The $7,500 vertical-slice tier covers a single sub-segment, e.g. all dental 621210, all home health 621610, or all hospitals 622110 cross-matched practices.

Compliance posture

Built from three open public records: DOL EBSA Form 5500, state Secretaries of State, and CMS NPPES. All individual-person name fields are stripped. Raw EINs are replaced with SHA-256 hashes. NPPES individual NPI records (entity type 1) are excluded. Only organizational records appear. Palavir is not registered as a consumer data broker in California, Vermont, Texas, or Oregon. Executive Order 14117 (DOJ Final Rule, January 2025): subscribers are restricted to U.S. entities.
